Does it hurt to get fake nails off?

my pinky one is hurting really bad all of a sudden it just started but it hurts really bad! Is there any way to do it myself? I didnt break it I think my natural nail is starting to come off from my skin or something or maybe my natural nail is cracked underneath, anyways it hurts really bad and its almost 8 pm my time and all the nail places are closed...Please Help!Does it hurt to get fake nails off?
If it was professionally put on, they've got something you soak it in . . . . When I had mine removed, it took a while, because you have to soak it enough to get it off, but even after the nail comes off you have to soak it, then use the tool to smooth it, then soak it, etc.





I don't know if you'll find the right stuff to soak it in at CVS or Walgreens . . . . I *think* it's just acetone - so you might have it already if you have a bottle of nail polish remover.Does it hurt to get fake nails off?
the person who did my last set of fake nails, ruined my nail. he burned my cuticle and now i have a fungus and a line under my nail that will take a possibly liver damaging drug to ever remove.my advise ie to stop getting them at all, you may have a nail infection under neath the fake nail.


yes it will hurt if you just yank or pull it off, acetone will soak it off, there is even a fake nail remover in some stores that melts it off.
well it normally hurts to take the pinky one off but yeah they hurt sometimes it depends on how long you have had them on
well go to a nail salon to try to get the fake nail off and just keep the other ones one till ur pinky gets better and have a fake nail put on and it might work!!!!!!! hope ur pinky gets better
What you can do to take the nail off yourself is go to Walgreens Wal Mart or anywhere that sells acetone and cotton balls.


Cut the tip off.


Take the cotton ball and soak it in acetone so its really wet. Then take the soaked cotton ball and put it right on top of your nail and wrap foil around it. say soak it for a good half and hour or so and it should come off.


The lady i go to to get my nails done told us how to do it at home and it doesnt hurt.
Yes it will hurt if you rip it off.. My advice would be to put up with it and then go to salon when there open cause you less pain.
