If he was an omnipotent deity one would think it would have been rather simple for him to make the tree bear fruit instead of killing it in a rage. Who says that it was out of season, do you think that he was stupid? He knew that there should have been fruit on that tree, but there was not. He will do the same to all who do not bear fruit for the kingdom of God.
