Is it safe to paint a 2month old baby's toe nails??????

please help....





my friend is 19 and gave birth to a baby girl two months ago and today she painted her daughters toe nails with red nail polish. i was like whhhhattt?





what do you think? is that safe? i dont think so...Is it safe to paint a 2month old baby's toe nails??????
Honestly, it won't hurt her and at that age they are barely able to get their feet in their mouth. They can't even sit up. I wouldn't worry about it. I paint my daughters nails and she is a year old. I really wouldn't worry about it. I think she will be fine.Is it safe to paint a 2month old baby's toe nails??????

As long as she keeps socks on the baby so she doesn't put her feet in her mouth, but of course the socks are always falling off and you can't always be watching them!
No, it is not safe. My daughter at that age was trying to put her feet in her mouth. Also, nail polish remover to take it off will be harsh on her skin
I don't see nothing wrong with it as long as the kid doesn't have their toes in their mouth all the time.
NO that is not safe at all!!! too many chemicals in the paint that can get absorbed into the babies body ....
Not only is it not safe...its tacky!! Tell your friend her child isnt a doll!!!
NO IT'S NOT SAFE..just the smell of the polish can harm the baby...they're not used to strong odors just yet..plus they tend to always put their foot on their mouth!!!!please tell her to remove it...her kid still has a long way to go...there's a proper age for those things..let her wait..for now just let her make the baby enjoy the baby stuff,not the teenage stuff...
She is probably a bit too young. I admit - I did it to my daughter when she turned 6 months and there was no problems from it.
It is not the paint itself that will hurt the baby, but the fumes it gives off can be toxic to babies lungs! tell her stop doing that or baby can develope some health issues!!

No! There are all kinds of chemicals in nail polish and babies have a tendency to suck on their fingers. You'll do her a favour if you tell her not to do it in the future.
