Can a dog get the toe nail fugus infection from a human? My 9 month old puppy's breath smell infected with it.

I've never heard of Toenail fungus being able to grow on anything but human toenail. Your dog may have gotten a yeast infection from you. Try brushing his teeth and see if the smell comes back. Use only a pea size amount of human toothpatse (it is poisonous to anyone if swallowed in large amounts). If you puppys breath continues to smell bad, bring him to the vet. It may also be a cavity or gum abcess.


Don't let him nibble your tootsies. He'll become a biter of people and you don't want to have to have him put down for biting people. Use doggie toys and only let him bite those, and you won't have to worry about him chewing up your good shoes, too!
