I want to paint my nails, but I don't want it to look too girly?

I've never painted my nails before and I don't want to buy too many bottles of nail polish. Maybe 2, max. Design and color help, please?I want to paint my nails, but I don't want it to look too girly?
If you've never painted your nails before, you should probably go with something more natural-looking. This doesn't mean girly-looking manicures but you can paint your nails to make them look more groomed. Try picking a light rose pink or a beige and paint them after you've filed your nails. Paint a line down the middle, then paint the sides. Or, if you're feeling more creative, trying going with polishes that have a slight shimmer in them or go with a neon colour like turquoise of coral. They look really cool against neutral clothing and are hot for summer.I want to paint my nails, but I don't want it to look too girly?
Just do it black then. Or white. Or baby pink, but I guess that's pretty ';Girly';.





If you've never painted your nails before, I don't recommend designs quite yet.
